Frequently asked questions
How do your mini sessions work?
Several times a year, I pick a location and a date for a set of back-to-back mini sessions (see above for what's included in a mini session). If these locations and dates aren't what you're looking for, I hope you'll consider booking a full session! Full sessions are a little bit longer (30-60 minutes as needed) and can be booked for the date, time, and location that works best for your family. I am no longer booking one-off mini sessions.
What should my family wear for our photo session?
I recommend going with coordinating rather than matching outfits, but the most important thing is to wear clothes you feel comfortable in and that make you feel like YOU. I'm happy to help you plan your family's outfits via phone or email!
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
Photos will be delivered within three weeks of your session. I try to deliver images as quickly as I can, and some seasons are busier than others. If you need photos faster than my typical turnaround, we can discuss options.
What happens if it rains when I have an outdoor session?
That depends! We could have fun with a rainy photoshoot (as long as it's safe), or we could reschedule for a different day that works for everyone. We could also talk about moving your session indoors if rescheduling isn't an option. Mini sessions that are rained out will be rescheduled for the rain date listed at booking.
Do you offer event photography?
No, I do not currently offer event photography. I highly recommend Haley Noel of Haley Rose Photography for all your event photography needs!
